Fall Fun!

October 10, 2011
We been trying to get outside as much as possible lately to try and enjoy the last of the warm weather. Noah can't stand to be inside too much so we take advantage of the opportunities we have to get out of the house. Luckily, we have great neighbors that we love so Noah has a total blast with them.

Jakob is still growing like crazy and is getting closer to being able to roll over now. He rocks back and forth from side to side but hasn't made it completely over yet. He's getting a little more vocal now and isn't as quiet as he used to be. Maybe he has Noah personality after all...

Noah is getting better about eating (probably since I refuse to give an inch when it comes to meals). I have to force every bite down him still but he doesn't put up as much of a fight as he used to. One really bad habit that we just can't seem to get rid of though are the bottles. It's pretty bad. Noah just LOVES bottles still and will drink milk only from a bottle. If I try to put it in a cup he flips out and goes and gets himself a baby bottle. He is perfectly capable of drinking out of a cup and drinks water and juice out of it just fine...it's just the milk we have an issue with. It's mostly my fault though. He is a freak about spilling stuff. It's really an obsession I think. If he can spill something, he will just to watch it happen. Bottles are the only thing he doesn't spill everywhere. Even those cups that say spill proof really aren't. Noah had no problem dumping them everywhere! Maybe I'm just lazy, but I get really sick of cleaning up liquid off of everything in the house. Bottles are a small price to pay if you ask me.

Say Cheese!
Learning how to bat and grab playing with the crib gym
Noah getting painted on by the neighborhood kids with mashed up sidewalk chalk mixed with water. I can't even tell you how fun they all thought this was and Noah loved every minute of it. I can tell you however that it was extremely difficult to get all of that off of him. His hands were green for a week!

Enjoying a little popsicle treat after all of the mess making fun!
Jakob and mama wearing the new baby carrier. It's a Sleepy Wrap and I would HIGHLY recommend it, especially if you have one of those babies that don't want to be put down by mama EVER like I do.
