The Maize

October 21, 2010
We decided to go to The Maize in Weatherford this year for our annual pumpkin patch trip. We invited Carter and Mikal to go with us to pick out some good pumpkins. It was a great idea, however, the weather did not cooperate at all. It had been SO nice lately so it didn't even cross my mind that it would be freezing cold with the wind blowing like crazy. We made the best of it though and ended up having a pretty good time regardless. They have a lot of neat things to do like the hay ride to the pumpkin patch, a huge jumper thing, a bunch of slides, a pretty good petting zoo, and ,of course, the corn maize. We did it all. We decided that we are definitely going back next year when Noah is a little older. He'll be able to do a lot more than he could this year. Carter didn't last too long. The weather was just a little too much for him so they had to leave after we made the trip to the pumpkin patch. Noah wasn't feeling too great either so we didn't get to stay all that long. Hopefully, the weather will be a little better next year.
