We're expecting!

When Matt and I finally decided to start trying to have a baby we had no idea that only a few weeks later we would get the news that would change our lives. Our new insurance started on September 1st, so that was when we could officially start trying. When I was late in October I was convinced that it was just a coincidence. Matt started bugging me to take a pregnancy test. I absolutely refused to because I was sure that there was no way I got pregnant that fast. Finally, after a few days of him harassing me I took one. Well, we were definitely pregnant! The thing turned blue immediately! When I told him he just said, "I told you." We went to the Dr about 10 days later to confirm it officially. I told her that I thought I was probably about 4 weeks or so. They did the blood test on a Friday and then again the next Monday. I also had an ultrasound on Oct. 30 to confirm. We were shocked when both tests came back saying that I was about 8 weeks along. That means I got pregnant pretty much the first time we tried. Who knew it would be that easy? We were both so excited to start this new chapter in our lives, and a little freaked out because we had expected it to be a few more months. However, God's timing is always perfect!
